Fibers harvested from the Santa Rita Prickly Pear Cactus on a piece of driftwood found on the Oregon Coast. Mounted on Arizona petrified wood from the Triassic period, over 250,000,000 million years ago. 
Hand-painted with transparent acrylic colors, and given an archival museum finish to ensure years of luminous color.
